Despite living most of my life in Florida, I have always had a passion for mountains.  Almost every vacation, both in the US and around the world, have been in the mountains.  After deciding we wanted a vacation place, we started renting all over the southeast.  After many family adventures, we fell in love with Pisgah and Brevard specifically.   We built a vacation place in the Brevard area visiting multiple times a year.  After seven years, we got tired of leaving and moved to Brevard full time.  As an avid cyclist (road, mountain and gravel), I am in the forest several times a week.  Despite the repeated exposure to Pisgah, I am constantly reminded just how special and beautiful this place really is.  Through the Pisgah Conservancy, I am committed to help Pisgah be special for future generations as well.
