My Pisgah Story:

I left New Jersey after graduating high school and headed to Arizona in an old Ford Taurus with a backpack, a skateboard, a National Geographic, and a dream to someday work in the Grand Canyon. My travels have taken me around the world botanizing and being amongst people and places with similar environmental issues and challenges. During these travels I have made some great friends, met awesome botanists, ran some miles on some pretty trails, and have seen some very beautiful landscapes. Along the way, I acquired the understanding of what services a healthy watershed provides and how the puzzle pieces of a functioning ecosystem attach. I’ve called this area home since 2019 and am excited to be on board with TPC; continuing the efforts to help Pisgah National Forest remain as one of the most pristine places in the country.
