Hailey’s love for outdoor education started while researching moths and butterflies at the Florida Museum of Natural History. That passion led her to manage an outreach program at the Florida Trail Association (FTA), where she taught communities about Florida’s unique ecology and recreation opportunities. She later became a naturalist guide with Good Trip Adventures in Maine, leading hiking & biking tours through Acadia National Park. With a degree in English and a minor in Zoology from the University of Florida, plus a Certified Interpretive Guide credential, she’s bringing her expertise back to the Western North Carolina mountains she explored as a child. Hailey loves searching for bugs, swimming, live music, and all things crafty.
Hailey was TPC’s Lead River Ranger in Summer 2025, and we are thrilled to have her back for the 2026 program season!
