Join members of TPC’s Invasive Plant Management Crew for a morning of hard work for a healthier forest!
We’ll be removing invasive species in the Davidson River Campground. Our target species will include autumn olive, privet, and multiflora rose. These invasive plants have disrupted the natural succession of the forest by outcompeting native trees and vegetation, thus reducing the aesthetic and ecological value of the area.
IMPORTANT: The minimum age for this volunteer workday is 18.
