Join our Trails staff as we give love to a trail forgotten by time and impacted by Helene. Big Creek Trail descends from the Blue Ridge Parkway for 5 miles before reaching Hendersonville’s reservoir. We’ve successfully cleaned up the overgrown vegetation, now we’d like to really spruce it up! Work will be primarily focused on digging and cutting exposed roots.
A stream crossing is required to reach the worksite. Difficulty for this workday is rated a 6/10, and the minimum volunteer age is 12 (with a parent or guardian).
