Join our Trails staff as we give love to one of Pisgah’s more quiet corners. The portion of Pilot Cove-Slate Rock Trail that follows Slate Rock Creek from its headwaters needs some tread repair, which will include digging, moving rocks, and cutting back overgrown vegetation.
Difficulty for this workday is rated a 7/10 due to the long hike in and the nature of the work, and the minimum volunteer age is 16 (with a parent or guardian). Pre-registration is required, and full details will be shared with registered volunteers via email.
