Be a part of the next Pisgah Conservancy success story:

TPC contracted local trail builder Shrimper Khare and his crew to construct the new 1.15 mile Searcy Creek Connector trail, which connects the top of FS Road 5095 with the top of the Butter Gap complex. Excitingly, the start of this project in November 2023 marked the first ground broken on the large-scale Butter Gap rehabilitation project in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and Pisgah Area SORBA.

This new connector trail allows for increased loop opportunities, fewer bikes on the road, intermediate-level riding and climbing, and improved recreational experiences for hikers and bikers alike. It also offers access to a stunning part of Pisgah with winter views of Looking Glass Rock, Cedar Rock, and the Pisgah Ledge.
