Pisgah River Rangers is an outreach and education program designed to promote and protect the ecological health of Pisgah’s natural resources. This program focuses on environmental stewardship, public education, and outreach centered around stream health.

Throughout the summer months you can find the Pisgah River Rangers providing educational outreach for Pisgah’s visitors and the greater community, dismantling rock dams and removing debris from Pisgah’s waterways, conducting field surveys with program partners, and more.

Following along with the Pisgah River Rangers on Facebook for program events and updates. Pisgah River Rangers is a partnership program supported by The Pisgah Conservancy, the U.S. Forest Service, Trout Unlimited, the Transylvania County Tourism Development Authority, Mills River Partnership, the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, and the Public Land Corps.
